Interviews, Scholarships and More

It's been a few months since I've written, but there's a few things that I do want to document before I forget.

First, I had an informal interview with Dr. Günter Seedfelt from the International Cooperative Education Program back in late January. We discussed possible positions, like a few in different hotels, or in a store. He mentioned a few others, like working in a nursing home, or working with children. They didn't really appeal to me....
But the paperwork is finished and I'm all set on my end. I'm just waiting to hear from ICEP and hope to have my placement soon!

Secondly, I've been busy filling out scholarship applications and they've been paying off! So far I've gotten $1,500 from the LSA International Opportunities Scholarship. I turned in another on Wednesday, and have the German department summer scholarship due by the end of the month. To date I have enough for my placement program fees and my plane fare. I'm hoping to get enough cash in order not to get too far in debt. But I have plenty to get physically over to Germany now. :)

Well, that's enough for right now.
